This Payment & Card Authorization Policy (“Policy”) governs payment methods provided in connection with reservations made with Daniel’s Limousine.

By providing a payment method, accepting the card authorization presented during checkout, and submitting a reservation, the Customer authorizes the handling and use of that payment method as described below.

1. Payment Method Required

Daniel’s Limousine may require a valid credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment method to secure and confirm a reservation.

Providing payment information does not necessarily mean that the Customer will be charged at the time the reservation is submitted.

2. Secure Payment Processing

Payment card information submitted through our online booking system is processed through our payment service provider, currently Square.

Daniel’s Limousine does not intend to independently store raw payment card numbers or card security codes when those credentials are processed and maintained by Square.

Payment processing may also be subject to Square’s own terms, security procedures, and privacy practices.

3. Card Authorization

By submitting a reservation and affirmatively accepting the payment authorization during checkout, the Customer authorizes Daniel’s Limousine and its payment processor to securely maintain the payment credentials associated with that reservation and to process amounts that become due under the reservation and applicable policies.

The Customer authorizes charges for:

4. When the Trip Fare Is Charged

For a transportation service that is completed as scheduled, Daniel’s Limousine will ordinarily process the applicable reservation charge after the trip has been completed.

No transportation fare is charged merely because the Customer submits the online reservation unless a charge is otherwise clearly disclosed and authorized.

5. Cancellation and No-Show Charges

If a reservation is cancelled within a chargeable cancellation period or is treated as a no-show under the applicable Cancellation & No-Show Policy, the Customer authorizes Daniel’s Limousine to charge the payment method associated with the reservation for the amount due under that Policy.

Cancellation and no-show charges may be processed before the originally scheduled trip would have been completed because the charge becomes due as a result of the cancellation or no-show.

6. Waiting-Time Charges

Where applicable, the Customer authorizes waiting-time charges in accordance with the confirmed reservation and Daniel’s Limousine policies.

Current standard waiting-time terms for applicable non-airport and non-cruise pickups are:

Airport and cruise pickups may be subject to separate waiting procedures.

7. Tips and Gratuity

Gratuity is optional unless otherwise expressly disclosed.

If the Customer selects a gratuity during checkout, the selected amount is included in the authorized final charge.

If the Customer selects a custom gratuity, the Customer authorizes the amount entered.

8. Reservation Changes and Additional Services

If the Customer requests and Daniel’s Limousine agrees to a material change to the reservation, including additional stops, extended hourly service, a vehicle upgrade, itinerary changes, or other additional transportation services, the price may change.

When practical, material additional charges will be disclosed to the Customer before being incurred.

The Customer may be asked to provide additional authorization when a material change substantially increases the amount due.

9. Damage and Excessive Cleaning

The Customer may be financially responsible under the Terms & Conditions for vehicle damage or excessive cleaning caused by the Customer or members of the Customer’s party.

However, this Policy does not by itself authorize Daniel’s Limousine to automatically charge an arbitrary damage or cleaning amount to the card on file.

Any such amount should be reasonably documented and may require additional Customer authorization or another lawful basis for collection consistent with applicable law and payment-network requirements.

10. Card Used for This Reservation

Unless the Customer separately agrees otherwise, the payment method supplied through the online reservation system is maintained for purposes associated with the applicable reservation and is not intended to constitute authorization for unrelated future reservations.

11. Billing Information

Customers must provide accurate billing information when requested.

Daniel’s Limousine may decline, suspend, or cancel a reservation if payment credentials cannot be authorized or if information reasonably necessary to verify the payment method is materially inaccurate.

12. Declined or Failed Payments

If an authorized charge is declined or fails, Daniel’s Limousine may contact the Customer and request another valid payment method.

The Customer remains responsible for amounts lawfully due under the reservation even if the originally provided payment method is declined, expired, replaced, or otherwise unavailable.

13. Receipts

A payment receipt or confirmation may be provided electronically using the email address or other contact information associated with the reservation.

14. Authorization Records

Daniel’s Limousine may retain records reasonably necessary to document a Customer’s authorization and the related reservation.

Such records may include:

15. Electronic Authorization

The Customer agrees that card authorization and related agreements may be provided electronically.

Checking an authorization box and electronically submitting the reservation after being presented with the authorization language may constitute evidence of the Customer’s agreement and authorization, subject to applicable law.

16. Payment Disputes

If the Customer believes a charge is incorrect, the Customer is encouraged to contact Daniel’s Limousine promptly so the reservation and payment records can be reviewed.

Daniel’s Limousine may provide relevant documentation to Square, the Customer’s financial institution, card network, or other appropriate party when responding to a payment dispute or chargeback.

Such documentation may include reservation records, electronic authorization records, applicable policies, correspondence, chauffeur records, proof of service, and payment information as permitted by law.

17. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Payment Methods

Customers may not knowingly provide a payment method they are not authorized to use.

Daniel’s Limousine may cancel a reservation, decline service, or take other lawful action if there is a reasonable basis to believe that payment information is fraudulent, stolen, unauthorized, or materially inaccurate.

18. Refunds

When a refund is due, Daniel’s Limousine will ordinarily issue it to the original payment method when practical.

Once a refund has been submitted, the time required for funds to appear in the Customer’s account is controlled by the payment processor, card network, bank, or financial institution.

19. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy is incorporated into and should be read together with:

If a specifically confirmed reservation term conflicts with a general provision of this Policy, the specifically confirmed reservation term will control to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to This Policy

Daniel’s Limousine may update this Policy from time to time.

The version applicable to a reservation is generally the version presented or in effect when the Customer submits or confirms that reservation.
